Hillside Legacy Donor Since 1949
In California, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are supported by the Department of Developmental Services, which holds the responsibility for placement, case management, and monitoring of clients in residential placement to the regional centers. Residents of Hillside are referred by the Regional Center System. Locally, Tri-County Regional Center administers the placement of individuals with I/DD within the counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.
Family & Friends of Hillside
Family & Friends of Hillside is a group of relatives, guardians, and friends of residents who meet throughout the year in support of our services and care. The group exists to:
Provide support for new families and friends of Hillside residents
Conduct parties and celebrations for residents and staff
Host meetings to discuss current needs and activities
Act as liaisons between staff and residents
Hillside is grateful to have the involvement of friends and family members alike as additional advocates for the residents.
